Janice is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), certified intuitive eating counselor, certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES), certified eating disorder specialist (CEDS) and owner of SoCal Nutrition & Wellness, a virtual and in-person private practice in Newport Beach, California.

She specializes in helping families and individuals of all ages optimize their health, well-being, and eating behaviors through a weight-inclusive, non-diet framework. She has worked with a diverse array of people with diabetes throughout her entire career and is passionate about simplifying nutrition messages for people with the condition.

Her book, Intuitive Eating for Diabetes: The No Shame, No Blame, Non-Diet Approach to Managing Your Blood Sugar, will be published with New Harbinger in April 2025.
